Happy New Year 2008

It's hard to believe that we are through with all of the Fall and Winter holidays. Thanksgiving, Christmas, and the New Years have come and gone. All were great for us and we found that we have much to be thankful for. Having Andrew in our life gives a whole new meaning to all of the above holidays.

Originally Kristi and I were going to New Orleans for New Years Eve. We had our reservations and all but then changed our mind about a month before to stay in town. We still wanted to get away so we went to the Gaylord Opryland Hotel instead. Both of us have always wanted to eat at the Old Hickory Steakhouse so we planned our evening around that. We booked a junior suite at the hotel overlooking the Cascades conservatory. After that we headed over to the Relache Spa for sweedish massages. You can never go wrong with that. We just wish they were longer. Afterwards we hung out at the hotel and brought in the New Year. When we first got married I started a thing called the Top 10 List. This is where each of us write our Top 10 memories of the year. We read them to each other and remember some of the fun and often funny times during the year. Each year I tell myself I will make notes so it does not come down to the last week of December trying to remember these events. Anyway, 2007 has come and gone and all in all we are very blessed with our time together. Looking forward to 2008 to see what great things happen.
