California Trip 2007

Kristi, Andrew and myself had a great time going to California. We were able to start our trip off by visiting family in Orange County. It was great to see all of them and spend some time catching up. We asked all of them to please come and visit Nashville. Hopefully they will do so soon. After we left Orange County we went to our hotel which was at Disneyland. It was the original hotel called Disneyland Hotel. We had a great view looking out over Downtown Disney. Andrew loved hearing all of the music playing there each evening. We spent two days at Disneyland and one at California Adventure. Andrew loved the Tiki Birds and Its a Small World the best. Winnie the Pooh was a close second. During our stay in Anaheim we did leave to go and visit the Queen Mary one day and also the Reagan Library. If you ever get out to Simi Valley you have to go to the Library. It was awesome getting to see Air Force One. After we left Disney we drove down to San Diego for a couple of nights. We stayed at the Hotel Del Coronado and was able to get an upgrade to a full suite. It was a beautiful room with an incredible ocean view. At night we were able to open the door and listen to the waves breaking on the beach below. On the way to San Diego we stopped at La Jolla for Andrew to see some real seals. That is the photo you see above. Our last day there we went to Sea World with our old neighbors, the Isbisters. It was a great trip which went by too fast. Lots of first time events for Andrew too.
