Luck Strikes Again.....

It's amazing....sometimes when I think luck has run out we hit the winner again. Today Kristi and I went to the Nashville Sports Council luncheon with the Nashville Predators. It was held at the Wildhorse Salon. Its a tradtion started by our good friend Steve Isbister. He moved to San Diego so I told Kristi I would arrange a sitter and get her in to see the lunch and Pred fun. We had a table for four with one of those being Predator Scottie Upshall. Scottie was awesome and very down to earth. We had a great time visiting with him about growing up and making it into the NHL. Scottie is #7 for the Preds just in case you go to a game. Kristi also had her photos with Tomas Vokoun and Jordin TooToo. We threw our names in for the prizes (even through Kristi acted like she was not interested). We were so into our talk with Scottie that we hardly did not even hear the grand prize winner. It was two round trip tickets on Southwest. Wow...Scottie looked at us and said what did you win. I told him as Kristi made her way to the front to get the prize. It was a great lunch and Kristi had a very nice time getting out of the house. While she was walking up to get the prize I had to tell the story about winning the truck....I won't go there since that was a different day in Pred history. All in all I have to say the Preds have been really good to us though. BTW.....Scottie said he started skating at age 3. Perfect for Andrew too. He said to hold his hand and that he will walk about the first year. That's exciting to know.....more to come later. Check back soon!
