Disneyland 50th Anniversary

Well today was the big day. We had ordered a Thomas Kincade painting called Disneyland 50th Anniversary back in October 2005 while visiting Disneyland in Anaheim California. We went to the Disney Gallary on a rainy night in the park and was hooked on this beautiful print. Everyone walking in the door saw this first thing. People were buying them left and right. We went out and talked about it and then went back in to get our copy. Its not an original but an artist proof. It arrived at our home today and we are thrilled to get it. The neat thing about this is that Disneyland let Thomas Kincade set his easel up on Main Street to work on it. You can read more about it at the Thomas Kincade site. Our's is numbered 49 of 390. The wait was so long because of all the backorders. We look forward to getting it up on the wall very soon. You can't see all the Hidden Mickey's that well in this photo but believe me they are there. I found several in the flowers, tree leaves and pavement. Oh the group of people in the lower right are Thomas Kincade and his family. He said he could not resist putting everyone in this painting.
